Thanks to the many members who supported Platinum sponsor Action Business Coach Business Coaching function with Brad Sugars. Brad’s message came with some practical applications and with over 600 in attendance thanks to Action Business Coach for a stimulating function and certainly a chance to Think Big!
The Budgets last week.
Visiting Perth, Professor Neville Norman, University of Melbourne, in his annual presentation on the Federal Budget, to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, while not totally knocking the budget believes that the budget does not go far enough to improve Australias’ economy. In an economy that is in its’ 16th year without a recession Australias’ growth is not keeping up with the rest of the world. His suggestions included more Research and Development and our Political Parties should work together for longer term goals for Australia’s progress. His comments on issues currently affecting business included, managing the super changes, minor GST changes and business indebtedness.
Members will get an opportunity to hear from the’ horses mouth’ ,the State Treasurer, Chamber member Eric Ripper comment on the current Budget and the State’s Economic performance along with Tim Marney Under Treasurer, and Mark Pownall, Editor Business News at a not to be missed breakfast on 6th June.

The Practice
Ewen Malcolm - Commenced practice during September 1977, in the City of Subiaco Western Australia.
Since inception, the practice has always been committed to maintenance of effective knowledge to enable the provision of informed decisions, by clients with personal service at competitive rates.
From the second year of practice there has always been a drive for the use of technology to assist in the provision of services and today the push is electronically link with clients accounting records and to get as close as possible to the paperless office as possible.
With growth and the information age has come the division of the practice into specialist's areas of taxation, financial planning and business development. This division has allowed us to allocate clients to a client manager who is required to lift our level of service to an integrated, across all services available, on a personal service platform.
1) Peter Monteath is the Taxation Manager and is supported by four client managers. The practice is fully networked with computers for the management of clients affairs
2) Paul Johnson is the Financial Planning Manager supported by Ewen Malcolm both of whom are FSR accredited. The practice has an arrangement with Count Financial Ltd and Law Fund to provide the full range of borrowing and investment products.
3) Ewen Malcolm is the Business Development Manager utilising the Inmatrix Optimist Software for business analysis and development.
4) Ewen Malcolm and Paul Johnson are accredited to use personal and business mortgage/debt reduction programs by Qwest Money Management systems Pty Ltd.
5) All loan requirements for home or business are arranged through Lawfund Pty Ltd.
