Welcome to our new members who joined last week. You will be receiving the latest ‘Dynamic Business’ magazine (see page 38 Creative Business) and Chamber information in the mail this week (please advise us if you do not receive it! In our sixth week at looking at RSM Bird Cameron’s blueprint for success our ‘Think Big’ programme in the coming months, we will look at the selection and use of Business Advisors. Of 61% of small medium enterprises using external advisors just over 20% ‘looked for’ Business Planning and 52% for superannuation Planning.
In selecting advisors the three criteria they believed most important were understanding business needs, knowledge of their particular industry and their reputation; price did not feature as a major factor in this decision.
